Dance therapy

- also known as dance/movement therapy (DMT), is a therapeutic approach that uses movement and dance as a means of promoting emotional, psychological, and physical well-being. It is based on the premise that the mind and body are interconnected, and that movement can be a powerful tool for self-expression, healing, and personal transformation.

- can be especially effective for individuals dealing with trauma, stress, anxiety, body image issues, and a range of emotional and psychological difficulties. It provides a nonverbal and embodied form of expression that can be particularly beneficial for individuals who struggle with traditional talk therapy or have difficulty articulating their feelings through words alone.

Going through these types of psychotherapy requires the person to combine effort, willpower, freedom, and the desire to get better without expressing them in words.
